One of the PGA Tour’s most dependable golfers is Patrick Reed. Justine, his wife, has supported him throughout all of his triumphs.
The two of them have been together since college. Read on to know everything about his wife and their relationship.
Who Is Patrick Reed Spouse Justine Reed?
Patrick relocated to Augusta, Georgia, after his first year of college in Georgia, where he met his future wife. When Patrick turned professional in 2011, Justine already has two bachelor’s degrees. Prior to being Patrick’s caddie, Justine worked as a nurse, swimmer, and football player.
Justine experienced a seizure in the bathtub in 2014, and was then rushed to the hospital. The doctors told her that she was lucky to be alive and that Patrick’s prompt discovery of her was the only reason she didn’t sustain worse injuries.
Justine served as Patrick’s caddie for his first two seasons on the PGA Tour. Patrick claimed that he tested her because she is just 5’1″ before they both felt it was a good idea. According to The Golf Channel, he loaded his bag with extra clothing and drink bottles to see how well she could handle the weight. Justine ceased serving as his caddie when she became pregnant with their first child, but her brother Kessler Karain took over.
Prior To Meeting Justine, Patrick Dated Justine’s Younger Sister
Even though he wasn’t interested in her at the time, Patrick admitted to meeting Justine when he was a freshman at the University of Georgia in an interview with Golf Digest. He actually went on a date with Kris, Justine’s younger sister who was in town from LSU. When he didn’t hear from her following their date, he messaged Justine on Facebook.
“I texted Kris to make sure she was at home, safe, and sound. Zero reaction. I then sent Justine a Facebook message. She informed me that her sister had returned and was open about the reasons why it probably wouldn’t work out. I learn more about Justine through our conversations that she is a highly tenacious individual who is pursuing two degrees while training to become a nurse. After a few years of continued conversation, we began going on dates. Favorite decision I’ve ever made.
The pair wed when they were both 22 years old, despite his parents’ concerns that they were too young. They haven’t seen his family since that time. After being married in December 2012, Justine has supported Patrick through several of his career’s high points.
The Family Has Two Children
Windsor Wells, born on May 22, 2014, and Barrett Benjamin, born on December 6, 2017, are Patrick and Justine’s children. Patrick frequently flaunts his family on social media, and his daughter was present in 2016 when he won the Barclays.
