Meet Her Husband, Patrick Clancy
Patrick Clancy, a 34-year-old Massachusetts native, married Lindsay. They welcomed three lovely children at the same time.
Unfortunately, the happy-go-lucky father was shattered when he lost his children. He was a caring parent who was proud to be a father.
He just issued a statement in which he paid emotional tribute to his departed children and apologized to his wife.
Patrick submitted a nearly 1,300-word statement about his experiences with each of his children.
He argued that his marriage was excellent and that it had only become better as her illness deteriorated.
He didn’t explain his wife’s situation or pay attention to her struggle.
The heartfelt note was written on his GoFundMe page, which his family members set up.
Friends of the Clancy family have set up a GoFundMe campaign in Patrick’s honor to assist with funeral, medical, and legal costs.
According to the New York Post, almost 13,000 donations have been made; the fundraising has generated nearly $900,000 of its $700,000 goal.
Lindsay Clancy’s Medical Condition
Lindsay Clancy may have suffered from postpartum psychosis.
Investigators are looking into whether the nurse suffered postpartum psychosis because she was on leave from her job at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The mother had previously revealed on social media that she was suffering from postpartum anxiety.
Lindsay, although appearing to be a proud mother, confessed her postpartum anxiety on Facebook after giving birth to her most recent kid.
Furthermore, during a vigil at the Holy Family Church in Duxbury, a priest disclosed that she had been striving to manage her mental condition until she became overwhelmed.
Although postpartum depression is common, it can sometimes escalate to complete postpartum psychosis.
In this extreme type of PPD, a woman may feel acute sadness and hallucinations, which may motivate her to harm herself, her children, or both.
Lindsay will face three homicide charges as well as three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
First, autopsies will be undertaken to determine how the children died, and the results will be made public once a death certificate has been issued.
