I had the impression that it was a significant Division 1 program. All of that was due to Dave, his high level of professionalism, and the way he raised and educated his pupils. I detest this and will offer prayers for his family and everyone else affected by this terrible loss. This is a terrible loss, particularly for the OC neighborhood.
I know I can speak for many others in the OC basketball program when I say that Dave was such a delight and that he was so exceptional. He created a tiny college and small college basketball program and was the best at what he did.
