Mertcan rode his bicycle away from his Farmingville home on Waverly Avenue overnight on Sunday, March 12. Authorities believe he is attempting to enter the Bronx, a New York City borough.
According to the source, the Farmingville teen was last spotted wearing torn jeans and a black sweatshirt, and he was last seen at Long Island Rail Road on his way to Penn Station.
