Through that avenue, they collected thousands of dollars. They received corporate sponsorships to help produce an annual 5k run/walk event and offer tickets to each Spurs home game just for CPS caseworkers and their guests – a chance to escape their work’s stress.

Barry was named to the Bexar County Child Welfare Board in 2005. She serves on the Heart Gallery of San Antonio’s steering committee, showcasing the faces and experiences of children awaiting adoption.

Barry regards her birth as the pivotal point in her life. Born to a single, teenage mother, she was adopted by a couple who subsequently welcomed three biological children to their family.

Similarly, she was always aware that she was adopted and had a special place in her heart for her biological mother’s difficult decision.

When Erin was born, her biological mother questioned her decision to place her for adoption so kept her with her for many days.

Everything was going well after their marriage until they encountered a hiccup. And after ten years of marriage, the couple divorced on irreconcilable differences.

The ex-couple Brent and Erin share two children: both sons, Quinn and Cade Barry. Their first son, Quinn, was born in 2001, and their second son was born in 2006.

Both of his sons are grown up, as the eldest, Quinn, is 21 years old, while the youngest is 16.

Brent Barry reportedly filed for divorce from his wife Erin in 2010, alleging “irreconcilable disagreements.” On January 5, 2011, the divorce was legally finalized in Texas.

According to records acquired by TMZ, Brent and Erin, who were married for 13 years, have shared custody of their two children.

The records also reveal that the pair agreed to a private prenuptial agreement outlining their property division before getting married. Until 2013, Erin got $4000 in child support under the condition that she will support herself for three years after finishing law school.
