What Happened ‘Missing Terry Ann Chermak Found Dead’ Deputies searching for Terry Ann Chermak, 49, after her family filed a missing persons report on Saturday, discovered her body at her house on Neely Ferry Road on Tuesday.

Missing Terry Ann Chermak Found Dead

At the couple’s residence in Laurens County, a South Carolina lady who had been missing with her boyfriend since last week was discovered dead from a single gunshot wound.

Terry Chermak, 49, and Todd Cagle, 48, were reported missing on Saturday by a person who said they had last seen Chermak in April but had spoken to her earlier this month, according to Greenville Police, who spoke to WYFF.

The pair had not been seen since September 9, according to the US Marshals, who detained Cagle on Tuesday afternoon outside his hotel in Denver, Colorado. Cagle is currently being held at the Denver Downtown Detention Center while he is being extradited back to South Carolina. He was detained on warrants for murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. Online records do not reflect an attorney authorized to speak on his behalf and it is unclear if he entered a plea to the charge.

According to WYFF, Greenville police have given the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office the investigation.

Deputies arrived at the couple’s house just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Sheriff’s Office public relations officer Courtney Snow, and the coroner determined the corpse was Chermak’s on Wednesday morning.

When Cagle will show up in court in Colorado is unknown.
