The TikToker was last spotted alive on the cliff’s edge on Sunday evening.
A 911 emergency operator called San Juan officials at 6:50 p.m. the same day.
They quickly deployed a Coast Guard MH-60T helicopter to execute numerous nighttime search patterns.
Garay’s body, however, was not discovered until Monday afternoon.
After a full day of searching, the Puerto Rico Emergency Bureau Unit and the United States Coast Guard discovered his drowned corpse.
