Matthew Listman, 21, was reported missing by The Normal Police Department (NPD). When the police learned of his disappearance, they began looking.
They began gathering information from Matthew’s friends and family members; they also attempted to locate him using mobile phone data and local business footage.
What Happened To Illinois College Student Matthew Listman?
Near the brook The corpse of a guy named List was discovered on the 900 block of North Main Street in Normal. According to authorities, the corpse was discovered at 10 p.m. on Friday, 130 miles southwest of Chicago.
Matthew Listman’s father, Ron Listman, said on Facebook about his son:
“To my son, Matthew, you were the finest son a parent could have. I already love and miss you. I wish we could switch positions. My life will never be the same without hearing your voice or hugging you again. Until we cross paths again. “I adore you.”
According to the most recent police reports, the body has been identified as Matthew Listman. The matter will be handled by the McClean County Coroner’s Office after all necessary investigations have been completed to determine that the young man’s death was not criminal.
“We are heartbroken to read of the unfortunate demise of our own College of Business student, Matthew Listman,” Business ISU tweeted. The COB expresses its heartfelt sympathies to Matt’s family, friends, students, advisers, and teachers.”
According to preliminary medical findings, Matthew Listman died as a result of drowning in the severe cold exposure. Other reports, such as Toxicology, are still awaiting. On the other hand, the McLean County Coroner’s Office is collaborating with Normal PD to find out additional information about this case.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are about 4,000 fatal drownings in the United States each year (CDC). Surprisingly, approximately 80% of those killed in these accidents were men.
