What Was Kyair Thomas Cause Of Death?

One of the twin boys who drew a statewide AMBER Alert and widespread media attention last year has passed away. Ky’air Thomas, who was six months old, passed away on Saturday just before midnight, according to the authorities. The infant’s death is being investigated by homicide investigators who responded to a call for help regarding an unresponsive youngster. The baby’s cause of death will be determined by an autopsy on Monday.

Twin Baby Missing Case

On December 19, 2022, Ky’air and his brother Kason are thought to have been abducted from Columbus’ Short North Arts District. Authorities claim that the mother of the twin boys walked into a Donatos Pizza on North High Street to place a Door Dash order while her car was still running and unlocked.

When the mother walked into the restaurant, Nalah Jackson, 24, was already there. Jackson left the establishment through a side door and climbed into his mother’s vehicle. She then reportedly left with the two babies in her car, according to court documents. On December 19, at around 9:45 p.m., Kason and Kyair Thomas were taken. An AMBER Alert was sent out on December 20 at 1:37 a.m.

Amber Alert Issued For Twins

Four hours after Kason and Kyair were kidnapped, the Ohio State Highway Patrol issued an AMBER Alert for their whereabouts. Authorities have named Jackson as the person they believe kidnapped the kids. Ky’air was found unharmed at Dayton International Airport on December 20, 2022.

The five states that border Ohio were advised by Columbus police to keep an eye out for Kason and Jackson on December 21. Columbus’s police chief, Elaine Bryant, added that the FBI was helping in the hunt. They also disclosed that Jackson will be charged with kidnapping on two separate occasions—one for each of the boys.

Nalah Jackson, Considered To Be The Suspect

The 24-year-old Nalah Jackson was detained and accused of taking the twins. Detectives received a lot of calls from people in Indiana reporting seeing Jackson in Indianapolis, according to Deputy Chief Smith Weir.

Jackson was discovered “on the streets,” but Kason and the stolen car he was traveling in were not. At six o’clock on December 22nd, Kason was found. According to Kason’s family, he was discovered in Indianapolis only a few hours after Jackson was detained.

What Do The Officials Say?

Kason was found in the car where he and his brother were taken away, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Kason was transported to a hospital in Indianapolis for a preventative examination. The child is doing considerably better, according to his family, and is anticipated to come home on Saturday, just in time for Christmas.

A few days later, Kason was discovered in Indianapolis unharmed. Later, his family was reunited with the Twins. It would take a further 72 hours before the parents of both children could see them again. One of the missing twin twins was pronounced deceased on Saturday by Thomas’ relatives.
