“The culprit is said to have fled the area on foot,” police added. Both fatalities were pronounced dead on the spot. The motivation for the shooting is unknown at this time, and authorities are investigating,”
“We cannot abandon our people’s freedom and safety to criminals,” said Holmuka, head of the provincial justice crime prevention and security cluster (JCPS).

Rapper AKA Killed- Case Details
To put the case in context, on Friday night, at 10 p.m., the rapper was walking out of the Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban when he was slain by two males.
He was shot many times. He was not the only one killed in the tragedy. Tibz Motsoane, a close friend of the rapper, also died while accompanying him at the time. According to reports, the shot was intended for the rapper but may have hit his companion instead.
He was in Durban to play at the YUGO nightclub as part of his birthday celebrations. He was killed on the spot. While the investigation is still ongoing and a few suspects are expected to be identified shortly, AKA’s father has asked his supporters to refrain from spreading falsehoods about the event.
He was a star not only in South Africa, but all around the world. He had written about his impending record only hours before his death. The record was supposed to come out later this month.

Forbes, sometimes known as Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was born on January 28, 1988, into a Christian household. As a youngster, he was highly smart and enjoyed toying with words.
Forbes formed the ‘Entity’ hip hop group in 2002 when he was 14 years old. Later, the trio was nominated for a KORA Award in the Best African Hip Hop Category.
In 2014, he began dating DJ Zinhle, a producer. The couple started dating seriously and now had a kid. She was born in the year 2015.
However, the pair split up after it was revealed that he was cheating on his wife with television presenter Bonang Matheba. Yet, both Forbe and Matheba refute the notion.
