Stephen Amritraj is a member of the Amritraj tennis family, which has had a strong presence in Indian tennis since the 1970s. His uncle, Vijay Amritraj, was a successful player who reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals twice. Stephen’s father, Anand Amritraj, and Vijay even played doubles together and were members of the Indian squad that reached the Davis Cup finals in 1974.
Stephen, a former Indian-American tennis pro, reached his career high of world no. 973 in 2007. He is also the cousin of another player, Prakash Amritraj, who, despite holding US citizenship, represented India in the Davis Cup. Around 2014, Stephen and Alison’s romance flourished.
Alison Riske and Stephen Amritraj began dating in April 2014. They were initially seen together on social media in one of Stephen’s tweets, which Alison later named her favorite. Throughout 2014 and 2015, they continued to post photos of themselves on Instagram.
