According to multiple sources, the 39-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac alum and the ex-NFL athlete are divorcing after ten years of marriage.
The couple’s children are Christopher, 9, Chase, 3, and Milani, 7. Chase is the youngest and Christopher is the eldest.

Monique And Chris Samuels Divorce Rumors- Are They Getting A Divorce Or Not?
Monique Samuels, a former “Real Housewives of Potomac” star, admitted that her marriage to Chris Samuels was “struggling in some areas,” but they are not divorcing.
“Are Chris and I splitting up?” “No, we’re not getting divorced,” Monique remarked in a YouTube video from Oct. 17 while sitting close to Chris. “Are Chris and I headed in opposite directions?” Certainly not.”
Monique and Chris Samuels are not getting divorced, according to her statement.
As if that wasn’t enough, Monique said, “We are most definitely still together.” We have not abandoned our marriage. We didn’t split up, and we have no plans to divorce.”
“It’s no secret that Chris and I have been suffering in certain areas of our marriage, and if you watched ‘Love & Marriage: DC’ last year, you witnessed the battles and everything that was going on,” the former “Housewife” responded to the accusations on YouTube on Monday.
“It was confused and hectic going up to our 10-year wedding anniversary.” When you’ve been married for so long and feel like your needs aren’t being fulfilled or you’re not being acknowledged, you become upset and wonder, ‘Oh my gosh, is this what life is going to be like?’ I simply cannot bear it any longer.’ So what you saw on “Love & Marriage: DC” last season was my scream for assistance.”
She stated that she frequently felt as though Chris did not listen to her when she informed him about her wants or issues.
Monique Stated That They Wanted To Highlight Their Marriage Repair Journey On “Love & Marriage: DC”
She stated that they had planned to expose how her marriage to Chris Samuels was mended as part of the next season of “Love & Marriage: DC,” but when rumors began to circulate, they were forced to reveal the plot.
She stated that she and Chris did not want to divorce, so they opted to attend to separate therapy sessions to “work on their individual problems” and “concentrate on themselves.”
“We agreed to spend a few nights apart while we saw various counselors,” she explained. “We’re conversing more now than we have in a long time.”
“We are absolutely still together,” she continued. We have not abandoned our marriage, we have not separated, and we have no intentions to divorce. We’re just striving to get better.”
Chris, who had been silent for the majority of the speech, stated that the rumors made them chuckle and did not worry them in the least. “It’s quite disheartening,” he added, “and it’s a pity that individuals would put things out there without confirming the facts.”
