Antti Lukkari’s wife claimed in a social media post that her husband was battling metabolic acidosis, kidney failure, sepsis, and TTP.
The incident was confirmed to Ilta-Sanom by Lukkari’s father, Hannu Lukkari. Frantzén acknowledged his shock at the passing of his close friend and colleague in a statement.
Antti passed away after being admitted to the hospital for a condition that manifested while he was away. Frantzén continues, “I’m thinking of Antti’s family and all his loved ones.
I sincerely appreciate all of your work, enthusiasm, and humor over the years that we were together, Antti.
We will miss you a lot, “Mr. Finland.” Brother, I’ll see you over there on the golf course and in the kitchen.
Hans Välimäki, a chef, also shared his shock at Antti Lukkari’s passing in a post on Instagram, writing: “I just heard the shocking news that perhaps the strongest, most attractive, and most talented chef, friend, and talent in Finland, Antti Lukkari, has passed away during his holiday trip in the Philippines.” My condolences to the family and colleagues.
