On June 6, 2022, Corey Aughey went suddenly. His family referred to him as their “real angel” after his untimely passing. On the first day of his family’s vacation in Majorca, the small youngster slipped into the pool.

Corey Aughey Died After Drowning In Pool
When he died, Corey Aughey was just six years old. He was brought to the hospital after he fell into the pool in Mallorca.
Emergency personnel rescued Aughey alongside the pool, but despite receiving 30 minutes of CPR, he died in a Spanish hospital while still in severe condition.
Aughey’s family organized a fundraiser after his death with the goal of raising $29,682, but only ended up with $25,256.
Also, it’s important to remember that Aughey played a key part as a scout for the Immanuel Church of Ireland in Ardoyne’s 45th Belfast Scout Group.
What Is Corey Aughey Foundation?
Upon Aughey’s demise, the Corey Aughey Foundation was established. Now, the foundation is also arranging a few events, and future events may be organized as well.
The Corey Aughey Foundation’s main goals are varied, with a focus on encouraging youth water safety knowledge and giving them access to swimming instruction.
The organization also wants to provide adult CPR instruction, hand out defibrillators in the neighborhood, and aid in the running of air ambulance services. The foundation works to foster a safer and healthier neighborhood for everyone via several activities.
