Andrew Tate has been charged with rape against one of the victims, while his brother Tristan is facing charges of inciting others to commit violence. The trial is not scheduled to commence immediately.

According to Romanian law, the case will be forwarded to the court’s preliminary chamber, where a judge has 60 days to review the case files to ensure their legality.

Prosecutors allege that the Tate brothers enticed their victims by seducing them and falsely promising romantic relationships or marriage.

In a statement obtained by CNN affiliate Antena3 in Romania, the legal team representing the Tate brothers expressed their intention to vigorously defend their clients in court and present arguments and evidence to establish their innocence.

The legal team further explained that with the case now being referred to the Bucharest Court, the judge will either inform the chosen defense attorneys of Andrew and Tristan Tate about the charges during a hearing, or establish a deadline for sending the indictment by mail. Additionally, at the same hearing, the judge will consider whether it is necessary to impose any preventive measures against the defendants.
