The person was a 63-year-old worker at the Lassonde Pappas and Company, Inc. Plant in Seabrook, New Jersey, roughly 40 miles south of Philadelphia. His name was Dale R. Devilli. After being called at 7:49 a.m. on Monday, the local fire department and New Jersey State policemen arrived at the facility and discovered Devilli within the kettle.

Devilli, of Millville, New Jersey, was said to be “an ardent outdoorsman, and handyman” in his online obituary. According to the obituary, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, two daughters, and two sons.
