According to KNSI, which cited court documents presented to the Benton County court, Leigh Anne Schwartz, 51, has allegedly been arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, child torture, and deliberate punishment of a child (five counts).
According to court records, Schwartz was caring for a 6-year-old kid at his house on the alleged abuse date of August 26. According to court records, the youngster suffers from epilepsy, Crohn’s disease, and a variety of physical impairments, including a kind of quadriplegia.
When the mother of the toddler looked at a nanny cam on August 4, she reportedly saw video of Schwartz shoving the boy’s head into a mattress and shouting at him for soiled underwear. Schwartz was also seen pressing the victim’s head against a wall while covering his mouth and nose with her hand.
Additional video allegedly captured Schwartz molesting the youngster and openly making fun of him as he sobbed.
Schwartz allegedly informed her superiors that she was overworking herself and “had a tough time overall.” She allegedly said that she had never assaulted a child before and was shocked that the mother of the child hadn’t spoken to her before reporting her.
