Knight intended to try to reconstruct Death Row after he was released from jail. Rapper Crooked I, who was formerly a Death Row signee, described how Knight tried to make a return.
Crooked told Rolling Stone, “He said, Let’s travel to New York – we’ve got to let the world know that we’re back.” We went to all the major stations, publications, and everything else, so we hit the media trail hard. It just felt as though it was going to come loose.

Crooked said, “There were a lot of folks that didn’t want Suge to prosper. “He frightened people,’ said the speaker. After starting to move, the ball would suddenly come to a complete halt.
Death Row albums were recently reintroduced in a novel fashion by Snoop Dog.
