Ann fled to Florida two months after Turner passed away, but she later made her way to Virginia, where she spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital.

Ann did found some comfort in watching her children thrive in their separate careers as they grew up. Although her marriage to the renowned racing car driver was turbulent, she claims there were also many happy moments.

The legendary NASCAR driver’s oldest kid with his wife Ann Ross is named Margaret Sue. When her father took her to races, Margaret would be overjoyed to brag about her father’s dominance in that sport.

Margaret Sue Turner Wright left for Washington after her father passed away because the family was having financial difficulties. Margaret joined the local music community in Washington and had a performance at the Cellar Door.

Margaret has previously taught lessons in painting, music, and dream interpretation. She is presently married to publisher Barry Wright.

The second child of Curtis and Ann Turner is 66-year-old Curtis Ross Turner. Curtis spent the most of the summer with his father before his death in 1970, participating in all of his activities.

Ross’s life changed after the passing of his father; it was not a nice one. The racing driver’s eldest kid moved into an orphanage in Roanoke after having to steal food to survive.

Prior to the family’s reunion in 1973, Ross also went on to spend some time living with his aunt. He eventually attended Liberty University and has been involved in Christian music and outreach since his undergraduate days.

When Priscilla’s father died in an aviation crash in 1970, she was 11 years old. Curtis Turner’s second daughter is currently a devout Christian.

As a memento, Priscilla holds a trophy from her father’s race in 1956, and she has talked about how upsetting it was to learn that other people had her father’s belongings.

Priscilla sought out professional counseling later in her life after having a challenging upbringing. Priscilla and her husband Dan Gauldin reside in Roanoke, where she works as a bookkeeper for a legal business.

60-year-old Tyler Turner is employed in the heating and air conditioning industry. When his father died, he was just 4 years old and living with his sister Priscilla at a Florida relative’s house.

At a Franklin County Speedway enduro, Tyler was presented as Curtis Turner’s son. For a very long time, Curtis’ children from his first marriage went unnoticed, and the racer’s second marriage was only brought to light after his passing.

 

 5. Curtis Morton Turner Jr

The child of Curtis Turner’s second marriage to Carolyn Jean “Bunny” Turner is Curtis Morton Turner Jr. Morton’s father went away when he was just 18 days old.

In a 1988 interview, Morton, who is now 51, expressed his desire to have known his father. Turner Jr. claimed to feel duped. He is presently working for Christiansburg’s Shelor Motor Mile.

Before moving into an apartment in Virginia, his oldest son Ross Turner resided in an orphanage and slept with his mother in a Holiday Inn. The second daughter, Margaret Sue, later moved to Washington and caught up with her siblings in their native Virginia.

The two youngest children of the racing car driver, Priscilla and Tyler, spent a significant portion of their lives in Florida. Afterwards, the family came together in Ann’s modest apartment in Roanoke, according to a 1996 Greensboro story.
