Let find out ‘Feds Join Hunt For Allison Rice Killer’ According to Baton Rouge police, the early-morning Friday shooting murder of a 21-year-old Louisiana State University student may have been a random homicide.
According to a police official who spoke to WBRZ, there is no proof that Allie Rice was the target of the 2 a.m. gunshot; instead, it appears to have been a “isolated and random incident.”
Investigators, however, officially state that they are not yet prepared to conclude whether the gunshot was random or targeted, according to WAFB.
When bullets were fired, Rice was waiting for a train to cross a crossing in her automobile. She had gone out with a friend and was returning home, as previously noted by Buggingquestions.
The FBI, ATF, and DEA, among other federal agencies, are helping in the investigation, according to district attorney Hillar Moore, who also noted that police have looked into every tip they’ve gotten.
“They are working so hard to get any information they can. Phones are ringing off the line, and there are rumors as well. People expressing what they believe occurred. I advise against going there,” Moore stated.
According to Moore, nothing in the reports made a suspect clear.
“Every agency, regardless of the initials in its name, is now doing everything that is possibly done. You name it: state police, DEA, ATF, FBI, etc. As we speak, everyone is working diligently to resolve this issue, according to Moore.
A $10,000 reward has been offered by Rice’s workplace, a restaurant that her father also co-owns, for information that results in the conviction of her killer.

Police Describe The Shooting Murder Of A College Student, 21, As “Senseless Violence”
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, on Friday morning, police discovered a lady shot to death inside a car on the outskirts of downtown Baton Rouge. She was subsequently identified as 21-year-old Allison Rice.
At least five or six rounds were fired into Rice’s car, according to WAFB.
When the cops came, the LSU student was the only one in the car. Her location near train tracks was reported by the authorities.
Investigators concluded that Rice could have been watching for a train to pass. When they got to the spot, there was no train, though.
Before the incident, Rice was reportedly in the Mid City neighborhood of Baton Rouge with several pals. She was a marketing major in her senior year at LSU.
In a statement announcing the news of Rice’s passing, the institution said:
“The news of senior Allison Rice’s death overnight saddens the LSU community. We are thinking about her family and friends and want anybody with knowledge about this crime to get in touch with Baton Rouge police.
Rice graduated from Dutchtown High School in 2019 and served as a member of the homecoming court.
Principal of Dutchtown High School Matthew Monceaux expressed the school’s “great sadness” after learning of Rice’s passing and sent condolences to her family and friends.
In the neighborhood of LSU’s campus, Rice also worked at The Shed BBQ. The proprietor of the eatery, Luke Forstmann, claimed to have just spoken with Rice about a planned internship.
“She had such a fantastic, promising future. She was going to graduate, and everything was absolutely great,” Forstmann recalled. “It’s just so tragic and senseless that someone as smart as her would be taken from us at such a young age.”
As Baton Rouge police investigate the incident, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome referred to it as “senseless violence and absolutely abhorrent.”
